Londoners should prepare to get their umbrellas out
London is set for five straight days of rain with forecasters down at the BBC predicting depressing weather to come. It will be an inevitable shock to the system after what has been a warm summer with temperatures at times exceeding the 30C mark.
The wet weather starts next Tuesday (September 5) and runs all the way through until Saturday (September 13). Until then it will be feeling fairly mild, with thermostats hovering at around the 21C mark with the sun making the odd appearance, but come next Tuesday the weather is set to shift.
Afterwards, weather is forecasted to return to the fairly normal temperatures we’ll be experiencing this weekend. The dreary weather news comes just after two days after The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning of rain on Wednesday (September 3), with those living in the south or west of London possibly affected by it.
The warning started at midnight and ran until 2pm that afternoon, meaning it lasted a huge 14 hours. The upcoming London weather forecast can be found below.
