Londoners have a damp week ahead
Londoners are set to be faced with more bad weather after a recent drop in temperatures has left us feeling frozen. Right after London and other parts of the UK felt the wrath of Storm Claudia, the elements aren’t going to improve any time soon.
The capital is set to see torrential downpours for 12 days straight, according to forecasters down at the BBC. There will be showers running from Wednesday (November 26) until Sunday (December 7).
It will also be fairly cold too, with temperatures plummeting to a freezing 4C at points. Thursday, November 27, may be the worst day by some way, with BBC weather maps showing much of the south, Midlands, and Wales, to be completely drenched.
The BBC’s forecast doesn’t stretch further than Sunday, December 7, so until then we will very much be needing our umbrellas. The Met Office’s long range forecaster is also bleak.
It reads: “Low pressure systems will tend to dominate meaning showers or longer spells of rain for much of the UK. Some heavy rain or showers are expected, most often in the west, although with a risk some of this could spread to other areas at times. Snow will probably be confined to high ground in the north.”
