Things are looking good, and Bonfire Night will be nice too

The sun is making a comeback with forecasters down at the BBC predicting six days of straight sunshine. The golden days will start next Wednesday (November 12) and run through to the following Monday (November 17).

This will be a most welcome break from the cloud, breeze, and showers we’ve had in recent days. It won’t exactly be scorching during the sunny days though, with temperatures predicted to peak at 12C and plummet to a very chilly 4C.

And better yet, Bonfire Night is set to hold out for those of us hoping to catch a majestic glimpse of some fireworks.
