This set of six Le Creuset coffee mugs come in Cherry, Volcanic, Soleil, Palm, Teal and Ultra Violet
When it comes to luxury homeware, a brand many shoppers will have heard of is Le Creuset. For fans of the brand, or newcomers wanting to explore it, a set of Le Creuset mugs is being offered with a 31% discount.
The Le Creuset Stoneware Rainbow Coffee Mugs are discounted on Amazon, costing £58.99, down from £85, a £26 reduction as part of a Prime Big Deal offer. This deal means shoppers will get six stoneware mugs, each 350ml, and in the well-known Le Creuset colours.
The set colours are Cherry, Volcanic, Soleil, Palm, Teal and Ultra Violet, and come in a gift box. Sold separately there are also matching tea plates, egg cusp and mini ramekins if shoppers want to flesh out their set.

The mugs are freezer safe (Le Creuset says they can withstand up to -23 temps), and with stain-resistant enamel, they’re easy to hand wash but also wear well in a dishwasher. Although Le Creuset does recommend washing them in warm, soapy water before first use.
Over the years, Le Creuset goods have become renowned for their durability, and these mugs are no different. Whether it’s serving up a latte or steaming mug of tea, the stoneware retains heat for long periods, with Le Creuset saying products can withstand up to 260°C, and there’s a 10-year guarantee.

The vibrant colours make a nice departure from neutral crockery sets, and Le Creuset products are microwave and oven safe. This year the brand also celebrated their 100th anniversary. Initially their signature colour was Volcanic (orange with red) but over the years that’s expanded to now include 60 colours in enamelled cast iron and nearly 100 in stoneware, their website says.

For shoppers who prefer their crockery plainer, then Next has the Set of 6 Monochrome Bronx Stacking Mugs for £32. These stoneware mugs have a ripple effect and a speckle gloss glazing, and stack on top of each other for easy storage and space saving. Each mug height is 33cm, and they’re in white, grey and black. They safe for use in the dishwasher and microwave.
At Dunelm, a set of 4 La Cafetiere Brights Espresso Mugs will cost shoppers £18. This set has four espresso mugs of 100ml each, with each mug in a different colour (blue, red, yellow and green). They’re ceramic and also dishwasher safe.
But back on Amazon, shoppers have so far left just over 1,400 reviews, giving the Le Creuset mugs a 4.8 average star rating out of five stars. One customer said: “Beautiful set of mugs! The Le Creuset Stoneware Rainbow collection is vibrant, sturdy, and feels premium in hand. The colours are stunning and brighten up the kitchen, and the quality of the stoneware makes them durable for everyday use. A joy to drink from.”
Another shopper said: “A perfect compliment to any kitchen these sturdy well made mugs are built to last with a great range of colours.”
Someone who bought these discounted said: “Grabbed these on sale and I’m not disappointed. Excellent quality, the colours are fantastic, the cups are comfortable to hold and keep the drinks hot. Dishwasher safe and just a great addition to the kitchen.”
