Equi London’s Beauty Formula was invented by a nutritionist to help a life-long friend tackle her skin problems and is now an A-listers’ staple

Beauty buffs are raving over a supplement they say has transformed their skin, leaving it healthy and blemish free. Equi London’s Beauty Formula comes in two different options, either as capsules or a powder, and contains a blend of 48 different vitamins and compounds including beauty staples collagen and hyaluronic acid to help nourish hair and nails as well as being said to be good for joints.

Shoppers who have used it say the unique combination of vitamins and minerals has not only helped brighten their complexions and clear skin of breakouts but also giving them an energy boost. Not only do the brand ’s founders agree, but the formula actually evolved to help one of the pair tackle her own skin problems.

The product actually came about after Alice, a nutritionist constantly on the lookout for effective products for her clients, was asked by her lifelong friend Rosie to recommend supplements to help clear her hormonal breakouts. She suggested a combination of nine specialist supplements which, Rosie says, within weeks not only cleared her skin but also improved her energy, digestion, concentration, sleep, and hormone balance.

The pair developed a single-dose version of the range of 50-nutrients Alice had first suggested, including the so-called GlowCutis blend . The blend incorporates a high-quality, targeted female multivitamin, mineral complexes and probiotics, sustainably sourced seafood collagen free from hormones and chemicals and hyaluronic acid as well as Acerola cherry and Vitamin C for collagen production, biotin, selenium and niacin for skin health and zinc for the maintenance of hair, nails and skin.

Beauty Formula was the end result, and since its launch, it has won numerous awards, become a favourite of Hollywood A-listers, appears regularly on QVC and is one of high-end department store Harrods’ best-selling supplements despite costing just £1.70 a day.

Meanwhile, Rosie may be the formula’s first fan but she is now one of thousands of happy customers. On Equi’s website, Beauty Formula has an average rating of 4.71 from over 185 reviews online, with shoppers praising the taste and saying that they noticed fewer breakouts once they started using it.

One shopper said: “ This product is exactly what I was looking for. I’ve always wanted to take vitamins but never knew which ones to buy, but Equi has done all the work and I really trust the quality of the product. I’m on my second jar now, haven’t had one spot since starting and my concentration has seriously improved. Loving it.”

Another added: “I’ve had hormonal acne for 2 years now and I’ve started seeing a new esthetician who recommended Equi to me. I’ve tried everything and when I mean everything I’ve had every possible facial and product imaginable so I was hesitant and put off purchasing them for a few months. Finally caved and one month in and there are genuine results, no more painful acne. My skin is finally calm.”

Meanwhile a third said: “Discovered this two months ago and it’s a game changer – my skin looks so healthy and my blemishes are nowhere to be seen.”

While many shoppers left positive reviews about the taste, not everyone got on with it – although one four-star reviewer was so pleased with the results she’d got she kept using it anyway. She said: ” This product has made a difference to my skin. There is no doubt in my mind about this! My skin is clearer and I’m no longer troubled by hormonal spots or worse, acne – which I have had even in my early fifties. I have had compliments on my skin lately, and my hair is in good condition too. I am not keen on the taste of the product hence the four stars but I am not stopping taking it every day. It is absolutely brilliant.”

Another shopper added: “I honestly don’t know how people can’t like the flavour of this powder … I’ve taken superfood powders for years and they taste terrible. This is actually delicious and I look forward to it every morning, not to mention how glowy my skin is! This company packs so much into their products, and the packaging is super cool. I’m a big fan.”

Meanwhile Equi as a brand has built a name for itself by expanding its range of supplements aimed at helping shoppers get all the nutrients they need through pregnancy, menopause and more.

The most cost-effective way to get Equi London’s Beauty Formula works out at £1.70 a day and involves signing up for an Amazon-style subscribe and save option. Equi gives shoppers a 15% discount by ordering this way and it ensures they never run out of vitamins by forgetting to reorder in time for the end of the bottle.
