‘I’ve had the Renew LED mask for a month and absolutely love it’
Shoppers have been raving about a popular Boots beauty gadget that they say is helping them achieve smoother, plumper-looking skin – and there’s now a £225 saving in a limited time deal, making it half price from its original £449.99 cost. Fans say they’ve been ‘recommending it to friends’ after they’ve seen visible firming results, describing it as a ‘game-changer’ for at-home skincare.
Now £224.99 at Boots until December 30, the Lustre ClearSkin Renew Pro Facewear LED Mask is claiming to redefine at-home skincare routines, helping users achieve plumper, smoother and more radiant-looking skin in just 10-minute sessions. The mask combines three targeted light therapies – blue, red and near infrared – to support a range of skin goals, from reducing the appearance of fine lines to improving texture and tone.
Its customisable light therapy zones mean buyers can tailor treatments for different areas of their face, whether it’s focusing on brightening or firming goals, or calming occasional blemishes. The mask’s medical grade, flexible silicone design ensures a comfortable fit that contours naturally to the face, distributing light for consistent results, the brand says.

It’s wireless and hands-free, and it features built-in eye protection for a safe, relaxing session – users should simply secure it with the adjustable strap, press start and let the technology do the work. Paired with the Lustre app, buyers can personalise treatments to suit their skin’s needs and even track progress over time.
Sessions last just 10 minutes and the device automatically switches off when complete, making it ideal for a quick glow-up in between work or travel, or before an evening out. The brand recommends usage three to four times a week for ‘optimal results’.

For some alternatives, buyers can look at the Shark CryoGlow Under-Eye Cooling & LED Anti-Ageing & Blemish Repair Mask for £264, down from £299.99, on its website. The brand says this has four dermatologist-inspired treatments.
LookFantastic then has its StylPro Wavelength LED Face Mask available for £99.99. This is an LED device with four treatment modes – Anti-Ageing, Target, Recovery and Balance – that targets a variety of skin concerns, and it is rechargeable via a USB.
However, buyers have rated the Lustre mask a high 4.9 out of five stars on the Boots website. One person said: “I was very sceptical about LED skincare, but after just one month of using this mask, my skin feels so much smoother and healthier, and I’ve noticed a big difference in fine lines and breakouts. The fit is comfortable, and I love the simple app-guided sessions. I’d 100% recommend this mask!”
Another said: “I’ve had the Renew LED mask for a month and absolutely love it. I alternate the colours and my menopausal oily skin breakouts have settled right down, and think fine lines are starting to improve. Wish I’d taken a photo at the start! Am delighted with it and have been telling friends to take the plunge and invest in one. Definitely worth the initial outlay!”
A handful of buyers slightly disagreed, as one said: “The mask is very pleasant and easy to use. I use it either at night before sleep or in the morning before getting up. Either gives me ten mins of ‘me’ time. I have been using for nearly four weeks but haven’t noticed much difference yet. I will keep using it though to see how my skin improves.”
A second wrote: “I have been using it now for a month and most certainly there is a very noticeable improvement. My skin is very smooth and youthful, looks fresh once I put makeup on – that looks so much better. No need to use any pore buffers or something. I noticed a difference after a few uses and the more you use the better it gets. I would recommend this mask as it worked for me and I am enjoying it.”
Overall, most people were delighted, as another said: “My skin was starting to look dull and tired but since using the mask I have definitely noticed it is much brighter and I’m using less makeup. I also had a little patch of psoriasis around my eye and I’ve just noticed this has actually almost gone!”
