Beyoncé finally hit London earlier this week, marking the beginning of her Cowboy Carter tour. Now she’s here, the star will play a cumulative six shows at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

And now her first show (which took place on June 5, 2025) has come to an end, the first batch of reviews are out. And they are overwhelmingly positive.

The Mirror gave Beyoncé five stars claiming she was on “top form”. They went on: “… From flawless vocals and choreography and a seamless blend of bold stunts and spectacular visuals. In one section, the Texas native climbs on top of a gold-plated bucking mechanical bull as she gyrates and gets thrown from side to side without missing a note.”

Wales Online echoed this sentiment, saying: “With intense dance routines, emotional moments, nine quick changes and a flying car, Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter is likely the most complete performance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season.”

Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.

The Telegraph went on to say the show was one of “spectacle and seduction”. They continued: “It was a show of spectacle and seduction, of bone-rattling volume and heart-beating musicality, of surprisingly hard-hitting politics and uplifting emotion.”

The Guardian noted Beyoncé performed Dolly Parton’s Jolene “as if were a prelude to murder rather than a plea”.

Not all reviews were completely positive, though. The Independent claimed Beyoncé relied too much on her staging.

They wrote: “Ultimately it’s left to a few show-stopping stadium gimmicks to make the evening: Bey flying over the crowd on a neon horseshoe on a thumping Jolene, or in a classic American car for 16 Carriages.”

If you’d rather not listen to the reviews and experience it for yourself, there are plenty still available right now. Only if fans know where to look, though. And that includes resale websites.
