Bargain hunters at B&M have spotted a reasonably priced gadget which will keep their dogs and cats entertained for hours, and they don’t even have to lift a finger

Pet parents, feel guilt no more, as there’s a cheap gadget that can keep your dog or cat entertained for hours.

There’s no doubt that you would play with your pet for hours on end if you had the time and energy, but in reality it’s hard to dedicate as much time to our furry friends as we would like. That’s why shoppers have been rushing to bargain store B&M to pick up a genius gadget which can help keep them entertained for hours.

The little toy, which doesn’t take up too much room in your house, can rotate 360 degrees, making it fun to play with – and it also doubles up as a food dispenser. That means the more your pet plays with it, the more they’ll be awarded with edible treats.

What makes it even better is that the toy is really affordable, at only £3 from B&M. The description reads: “Reward your cat as it plays with this fantastic Ferris Wheel Treat Toy. Treats are easily dispensed as your cat plays, pounces and moves the wheel.”

Taking to Facebook, the bargain chain revealed it’s not only for cats. The company shared a video of a dog playing with the Ferris Wheel, which was stuck to the wall, they wrote: “Stop your pets getting bored – interactive games help challenge their minds!! This Ferris Wheel Treat Toy is only £3 & will keep cats and dogs entertained for hours. They’ll be mesmerised!”

Thousands of commenters took to the video to share their excitement, with one person writing: “This would be brilliant for Rocco. Stop him eating so fast.”

Another added: “Definitely need one of these for our puppy,” and a third wrote: “I got this for my cats. Only one is intelligent enough to work it, but he loves it.”

B&M sells all sorts of wonderful things for a cheap price – and that’s why many Brits love it. But it turns out people are only just starting to work out what the brand’s name actually stands for.

Many think B&M stands for Bargains & More, highlighting the store’s low prices on its products, but that’s not actually the case. To understand the true name of the brand you have to go back to their founder.

As it turns out, the actual name stands for Billington & Mayman after the founder of the chain Malcolm Billington and Mayman, a partner in the store.
