The Olay favourite has been reduced from £44 to £22 in the Boots sale, and it’s packed with skin-loving hero ingredients that promise to transform your complexion in just 14 days
A popular anti-ageing face moisturiser from Boots hailed as ‘luxurious’ by shoppers has been slashed by half price in an online sale. The health and beauty retailer regularly hosts a range of offers for shoppers to snap up skincare goodies for less, with the latest offering half-price off select Olay branded products.
Included in the deal is the highly rated Olay Collagen Peptide 24 MAX Face Cream, which has been reduced from its original £44 to just £22. The powerful cream features three skin-loving hero ingredients including collagen, peptides and niacinamide, with many users saying they saw results in the space of two weeks.
The brand says the face cream is its ‘most potent’ collagen peptide formula that is able to penetrate ‘up to 10 layers deep into skin’ to reveal a ‘visibly stronger and glowing’ complexion in 14 days.
What’s more is it’s free from fragrances and any synthetic dyes, making it suitable for use on all skin types as it shouldn’t lead to any harsh breakouts.
Over time, it promises to smooth your skin’s texture while restoring its protective barrier, backed by more than 3,000 five-star reviews from shoppers that are as glowing as their skin, it would seem.
One said: “This is a great day cream for me! It really suits my skin and doesn’t leave any greasy residue by sinking straight in. I’ve been using it now for 3 wks and have noticed a huge improvement in both texture of my skin and its plumpness! No irritation and no breakouts. Lovely!”
“I have hooded eyes and even after a few days I can see a huge improvement,” said another. “Skin is much tighter, hydrated and smoother. I can also use in the morning before applying makeup and it doesn’t smudge and slide all over my eyes like other creams do. Will definitely be buying again.”
While a third penned: “Absolutely loving this luxurious day cream. It glides on and absorbs immediately, leaving my skin smooth and hydrated. Fine lines have reduced and skin looks fresh, plumped and youthful. To date, this is by far the best moisturiser I have used.”
The cream seems better suited for those with dry-normal skin rather than oil or combination skin, with another customer commenting: “This definitely is a hydrating mask but a bit too much, it leaves my face feeling oily and it is quite expensive.” However, those with oily skin that would still like to use Olay as a trusted brand might prefer the Olay Complete Lightweight 3in1 Moisturiser Day Fluid SPF15 Normal Oily, which is £14 or £9 if you have an advantage card.
Elsewhere, shoppers also love the Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, which is a lightweight formula that’s said to minimise the appearance of fine lines and plump the skin. It’s currently reduced on the Lookfantastic website from £95 to £76. Meanwhile, the Ole Henriksen Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturiser is £42 at Cult Beauty and packed with peptides, collagen and hyaluronic acid for ‘immediate’ results.
Alternatively, you can purchase the Olay Collagen Peptide 24 MAX Face Cream here at Boots for £22.
