A stunning bouquet made up of KP Choc Dips rather than flowers has wowed British Reddit users, with many people admitting they’d love to receive one despite its hefty price tag of £26.99
A Reddit user who ridiculed the idea of a KP Choc Dip bouquet was left with egg on their face after scores of people admitted they’d love to receive one.
A snap of the unusual gift was shared to the CasualUK thread on Reddit, showing it retails online for £26.99 and is the creation of Etsy confectionary store, Sweet Bouquet Gifts. The shop’s five-star rating after more than 900 reviews suggests the item has gone down a storm with customers and recipients.
“What’s the matter babe, you’ve barely touched your KP Chocolate Dip Bouquet?” quipped the social media user alongside a picture of the unique creation. Presented in a neat cellophane wrapper and sealed with a matching blue bow, the online community was clearly impressed.
“Not gonna lie, if someone got me that I’d think it was brilliant and it would last about two days max,” one person joked. “I’d be fighting my kid for them too.”
Similarly, a second responded: “Ngl [not gonna lie], if my partner bought me one of these, I’d be over the moon. Although I’d tell him to skip the bouquet and just buy me a box full!”
“Where might one obtain such a creation?” asked a third, intrigued. Whilst a fourth exclaimed: “This looks banging.”
The only negativity within the post, meanwhile, referred to the lack of chocolate sauce provided in the classic British treat. “The chocolate to stick ratio in those things has always been way off,” one person slammed. “You find yourself trying to spread out the tiny bit of chocolate you have left over the remaining 8 sticks because you went in with the first few sticks like a complete nutter at the start.”
A second Redditor agreed: “For this reason I don’t buy them anymore. I buy a giant tub of Nutella and a packet of bread sticks instead. Adult size Choc dips.” And a third explained: “I haven’t had one for ten years, I dread to think how small the pot of chocolate is nowadays.”
