Boy, 17, ‘sexually assaulted five women’ in two-hour London transport rampage

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a series of linked sexual offences

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a series of linked sexual offences that occurred across London’s transport network on Friday evening.

The incidents began at approximately 4:40 PM on September 5th when a woman was sexually assaulted by a 17-year-old boy on a Bakerloo line train at Harlesden Underground station.

The suspect then continued his attacks, sexually assaulting two more women on a Thameslink train and at Blackfriars railway station platform shortly after the initial incident.

The spree of offences continued with another attack on a woman aboard a Thameslink train heading towards St Pancras railway station at around 6:40 PM, followed by a fifth assault at West Hampstead Thameslink station at approximately 7:00 PM. Officers have arrested a suspect in connection with the incidents, and further enquiries are ongoing.

Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed these incidents to come forward, as well as any individuals who may have been victims themselves.
