Brent man charged with murder after Wembley stabbing victim’s death

A man has been charged over a fatal stabbing in North West London earlier this week.

Kevon Jenkins, 22, of Wharton Close, Brent, has been charged with murder and possession of a pointed and bladed article following the stabbing on High Road, Wembley on Monday, December 1.

He will appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 4.

Police were called at around 12.55pm on Monday, December 1, to reports of a stabbing. A 22-year-old man was treated at the scene but later died in hospital.

The victim’s family are being supported by specialist officers. Jenkins was arrested on suspicion of murder on the day after the incident.

A woman, aged 21, was arrested at the same time on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
