Several road closures are set to disrupt residents of Brent this month while major utility and rail works are carried out, with roads in Sudbury and Willesden set to be shut until August.
The busy North Circular Road will be closed for five days near the start of the month, which is likely to cause disruptions and congestion on the surrounding roads.
The Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) has found all of the ongoing and planned road closures that are happening in June, according to one.network. Whilst some closures will only take place overnight, others will see roads shut for weeks or even months at a time.
The closures could cause traffic disruption for residents who may need to find an alternative route to get to their destination.
Major closures include that of the North Circular, which will be closed for maintenance works by Network Rail from June 8 to June 12. St Paul’s Avenue in Willesden will remain closed until early August whilst essential water works are carried out.
Below is a breakdown of all the road closures both ongoing and planned that will be in force throughout June and beyond. Residents should look out for diversion routes to avoid facing substantial disruptions.

- Old North Circular Road: Road closed from June 22 to June 23 for Network Rail maintenance
- Knatchbull Road (Harlesden): Road closed from June 22 to July 22 for power network maintenance
- Acton Lane (Harlesden): Road closed from June 28 to June 29 for water works
- Elthorne Road (Kingsbury): Road closed from June 2 to June 4 for water works
- Ballogue Avenue (Neasden): Road closed from March 31 to June 5 for water works
- Balnacraig Avenue (Neasden): Road closed from June 2 to July 14 for water works
- Midstrath Road (Neasden): Road closed from June 2 to June 23 for water works
- Clifford Way (Neasden): Road closed from May 13 to July 10 for water works
- Abbey Road (Park Royal): Road closed from May 15 to June 8 for water works
- Elton Avenue (Sudbury): Road closed from June 23 to August 4 for water work
- Woodcock Hill (Wealdstone): Road closed from May 19 to June 9 for water works
- Park Avenue (Willesden): Road closed from April 5 to June 11 for water works
