Britain’s Got Talent star Lexie-May, who appeared on the ITV show in 2018 with dance partner Christopher, looks unrecognisable years after her stint on the show.
Lexie-May auditioned in 2018 alongside her dance partner Christopher. The duo were both just 10-years-old when they stood in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon.
Lexie-May, from Manchester, and Christopher, performed a ballroom routine to Meghan Trainor’s Dear Future Husband, winning themselves a standing ovation from the audience. The duo made it to the semi-finals in 2018.
BGT fans may remember the pair’s adorable chat with the judges, where Lexie-May explained she’d met Christopher “on a website”, leaving the judges in stitches.
As David asked Lexie-May how she and Christopher came to be dance partners, she said: “Well, there’s a website…,” leading to laughter from the audience.
Simon then asked: “Really?” to which Lexire replied: “If you’re both in the same category, you’re a match. So, obviously we’re a match.”
David then asked Christopher if Lexie-May was “the boss” in the partnership, to which he quipped: “Well, she thinks she is!” leaving the audience in stitches once again.
Lexie-May then sweetly branded Christopher her “future husband”, before the pair performed for the judges and impressed all four of them.
Lexie-May and Christopher made it to the semi-finals on BGT before being eliminated, with Lost Voice Guy going on to win the ITV talent show.
Lexie-May, now 17, is still dancing and regularly competes in competitions across the country. However, she appears to have swapped Christopher for a new dance partner, Dylan.
In snaps shared on her Instagram profile, Lexie-May and Dylan can be seen holding trophies and competing in different competitions together, with the pair seeming to have made a successful partnership on the dance floor.
Earlier this year, Lexie-May and Dylan were crowned the winners of the Dance Promoters Assocation Team Match, where they represented Team North. The duo have also won ballroom and latin competitions together over the past year.
It’s unclear what Christopher has been up to since his BGT stint, but it seems he and Lexie-May were still dancing together up until 2021, according to her Instagram account.
