A person was raced to hospital after being stabbed in South London. The emergency services raced to Downham Way, Bromley, at 3.51pm on Wednesday (April 17) to reports of two men carrying knives.
This was followed by another call claiming a man had been stabbed on the same road. The victim was taken to hospital where his condition was considered to be non life-threatening.
One man was arrested and was taken into custody. However the second suspect is yet to be found.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson told MyLondon: “We were called at 3.51pm yesterday (April 17) to reports of a stabbing on Downham Way, Bromley, BR1. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer.
“We also dispatched a team from London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a patient at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre.”
The Met Police told Newsshopper: “Police were called to Downham Way, Bromley at about 3.50pm on Wednesday, April 17, following reports that two men had been seen with knives. A further call was received shortly after reporting that a male had been found stabbed on the same road.
“Officers and LAS attended the scene, and the man was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition has been assessed as not life threatening. One man was arrested at the scene and has been taken into custody. Urgent enquiries are ongoing to trace a second suspect.”
