A crash has closed off a busy area of Carshalton. The A232 High Street has been closed in both directions from The Square to Park Lane since around 2am (Monday, October 13), reports traffic website Inrix.
The nature of the crash is unknown but MyLondon has contacted the emergency services for more details. Photos and videos shared on local Facebook groups show two sections of the road cordoned off as Met Police officers stand guard.
The following four London buses are on diversion: 127, 157, 407, and SL7. The road is closed with heavy traffic, according to Google, so only head that way if absolutely necessary.
