A road near Catford Bridge station is shut in both directions amid an ongoing ‘police incident’. A cordon has been set up on Rushey Green between Ringstead Road and Honley Road, with a number of officers stationed outside it.
The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed. However, the shopping street has been closed since around 3.30am this morning (October 15), according to live tracker Inrix.
Transport for London has reportedly put multiple buses on diversion as a result.
The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service have been contacted for more information.
