CCTV images have been released following the political vandalism on a candidates office in Walthamstow. An investigation into criminal damage is underway by the Metropolitan Police after damage was caused to the Labour MP’s office window in Orford Road.

Pictures of the attack were shared on X by Labour MP Stella Creasy, which show a number of cracks in the window. Reacting to the attack, Ms Creasy said: “Message to whoever attacked my office last night. You don’t intimidate me and you don’t belong in the political process. Same as those circulating malicious and false leaflets. Police already on this to find you – will press for the strongest penalties for such an anti-democratic attack and I know Walthamstow won’t be cowed or influenced by your violence either.”
