August was a sticky month for all of us in London, but there’s nothing like the prospect of a long spell in prison to get the sweat beads rolling off your forehead.
As temperatures soared in the capital, MyLondon reported on a number of court cases that ended with jail terms for a rag-tag group of violent thugs, shameful sex offenders, reckless drug dealers, fraudsters, and kitten-killing teenagers.
We saw plenty of forehead wiping, and even a bout of uncontrollable nausea as one man got so nervous he vomited. That’s the gravity of these crimes – they are not the sort of thing you want to be in the dock for.
