The famous Coca Cola Christmas truck promises to immerse visitors in a winter wonderland
It’s the world’s most famous soft drinks company, whose 1930s advertising created the image of the red and white-suited Santa as we know him. Coca-Cola is synonymous with Christmas and its famous red red truck is preparing to rock up just outside London this month.
Coca Cola’s Christmas Truck Tour will rock up outside the Tesco superstore on Great North Road in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, from 12pm to 8pm on Thursday, December 11. Visitors from Hatfield are invited to step into an immersive winter wonderland, where twinkling lights illuminate the red truck, creating an ideal backdrop for seasonal selfies.
Elodie Peribere, marketing director at Coca-Cola, said: “Coca-Cola remains synonymous with Christmas, and we’re delighted to bring back our iconic Truck Tour. This year, we’re encouraging everyone to ‘Refresh Your Holidays’ and take a well-deserved pause to create uplifting moments with loved ones.”
Guests can soak in the holiday spirit while enjoying an ice-cold Coca-Cola Original Taste, Coke Zero or Diet Coke. New for this year, visitors can turn photos with loved ones into unique, personalised baubles.
In the spirit of the season, Coca-Cola will continue its partnership with FareShare, the UK’s leading food redistribution charity fighting hunger and food waste. Coca-Cola will make a direct donation to FareShare, equivalent to 1 million meals, supporting their vital work in getting good-to-eat food that would otherwise to go to waste to those who need it most – right across the UK.
Graham Kelly, head of fundraising at FareShare said: “We are so grateful to Coca-Cola for their continued support for FareShare. This incredibly generous donation means this festive season the equivalent of 1 million meals will reach people and communities in need.”
For those unable to visit the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck in person, the festive on-pack promotion across Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Coca-Cola Original Taste, and Diet Coke packs offers a chance to win thousands of festive gifts by scanning QR codes.
Coca Cola’s Christmas Truck Tour will park up outside Tesco superstore in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, from 12pm to 8pm on Thursday, December 11. Further dates and locations are yet to be announced.
