Three women were killed in their Hertfordshire home on Tuesday evening (July 9) and a huge manhunt ended with police detaining prime suspect Kyle Clifford, 26, in Enfield. The killings were done by crossbow, police said, and happened in Bushey on Ashlyn Close at about 7pm on July 9. Clifford was caught in Lavender Hill Cemetery in Enfield with serious injuries.
The victims were confirmed as Carol Hunt, Hannah Hunt and Louise Hunt, aged 61, 28, and 25. This is the entirety of BBC 5 Live racing commentator John Hunt’s family who is the only one to have survived them and has been reported to have been the one to have found them after the attack.
The investigation has been spread out over three days and two counties so we have put together a timeline of key events to help piece together what is known so far.
