Shoppers have praised the new Crocs as ‘the cshoes combine the comfort of their Cozzzy Slippers and the versatility of the Classic Lined Clog that are perfect for winter

It’s officially cosy season and every year I am on a mission to find the best slippers to keep my feet warm at home. Fleece lined slippers are in high demands as shoppers look for cosy comfort with soft footbed.

Crocs has upgraded their classic clog and launched a new Classic Unfurgettable Vegan Suede Clog, which has a faux suede upper and soft lining to keep the feet warm and toasty. With the backstrap and shock-absorbing Croslite outsole, shoppers can even take these slippers outdoor as well. The non-slip hard sole also prevents the wearer from falling on smooth surface like polished wooden floors and tiles, making it suitable to wear both indoors or out.

The sink-in footbed adds comfort while the the vegan faux suede upper features a faux fur liner, collar and backstrap for extra cosiness. Having never owned a pair of Crocs, this will probably be my first purchase.

The vegan suede clog is available in five colours and I predict Sepia will be the sell-out colour. It retails at £69.99, which is not the cheapest on the market but it’s more wallet-friendly than a pair of UGG clogs which, for the brand’s Goldenstar range, cost £125. They come in five different colours and have an average rating of 4.6 stars out of 5 based on 998 reviews.

Elsewhere, Boux Avenue’s Platform Mule Slippers are another adorable pair that feature super soft plush faux fur. It’s available in taupe, pink and beige, at £24. Meanwhile, over at Just Sheepskin, shoppers can get the Quinn Sheepskin Sling Back Mule Slipper at £85. They’re made of sheepskin and gel-infused memory foam on a chunky platform for extra comfort.

One thing Crocs has over all these alternatives is the option of Jibbitz personalisation. Shoppers can purchase the charms (from £2) on the Crocs website and customise the clog by decorating the heel strap. The universal style is available between UK4 and UK10 for women’s or between UK3 and UK12 for men’s.

One five-star customer bought the clogs along with some bejewelled charms and shared: “They are as cosy as they look. I love how you can add Jibbitz charms to them, as it really elevates the look. I can definitely see these becoming the shoe of the fall season. I’m glad I hopped on the bandwagon when I did, because these Sepia-toned ones are so cute. I think a certain famous boots company is going to have a bit of competition this season.”

A second also left a five-star review, saying: “Wore around the house and feels cozy. Comparable to UGGs.”

But not all reviews are glowing, with one warning that it might be necessary to size up: “Ordered a size 7 shoe L, I own several crocs all this size, but these are to small. They seem to have added the fabric and padding to the standard size shoe and not adjusted the size for the extras.”

However, for anyone happy to experiment with the sizing of the Unfurgettable Vegan Suede Clog, one happy customer thinks it’s worth the effort, explaining: “This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned, so stylish and on trend. Amazing price for this brand and look.”
