Cricut’s exclusive 2025 starter bundle has been slashed to under £180 in Amazon’s Prime Day deals and it’s perfect for doing crafts with your kids on the way to Christmas
There’s nothing better than doing some festive crafts in the lead up to Christmas, and a Cricut is a great way for the whole family to try their hand at it. The Cricut Joy Xtra Starter Bundle is the perfect pick for setting up a little at-home craft station that the kids can get involved with too, and it’s now on sale in the Amazon Prime Day sale.
The 2025 Amazon Exclusive Edition of the Cricut Joy Xtra Starter Bundle is now £179.99 in the sale, down from £219.99 and saving you £40 on the kit. The bundle gives you everything you need to get started on crafting, and this set is exclusively available at Amazon.

The exclusive bundle includes a curated collection of 25 additional images that are available in your Cricut Design Space library, and can be used to create everything from your own personalised stickers and greeting cards to tote bags and T-shirts. The Cricut Joy Xtra Starter Bundle works with more than 50 different materials like iron-on, cardstock and vinyl, and it can be used to cut out even the most intricate designs.
You can use it to draw any shape and write in all sorts of styles, and you can also upload and cut out your own designs, allowing you to make unique items. This is great for creating some unique Christmas gifts, like personalised T-shirts or Christmas cards specifically for your loved ones. It’ll also connect to your home inkjet printer to print and cut full colour designs too, giving you plenty of options to create fun designs with the whole family.

Amazon shoppers however have been thrilled with the Cricut Joy Xtra Starter Bundle, with one happy parent writing: “Amazing what my 11yr old did with this in just a few hours. The app is all self explanatory and the possibilities are endless!”
Another said: “As expected, really great with lots of accessories that you can get started right away. I am extremely satisfied.”
Some shoppers however found there were some connectivity issues. One wrote: “If this thing had a USB connection I wouldn’t have to rely on their terrible BlueTooth implementation. As it is, I need to restart the cutter frequently, and quit/reload the Design Space software. BlueTooth connection starts from scratch for every cut and takes ages. Once connection is finally established this is a useful cutter and the print & cut capability makes it a lot more useful than a Cricut Joy.”
Whilst another wrote: “Bluetooth cant maintain connection to anything.”
However others have found it super useful, with one writing: “I’m really pleased with this cutter. I upgraded from a silhoette machine. There is lots you can do with it, and it is fun to use and experiment. I love that it is small, but good for A4 sized cutting, which is what I use most. It is easy to use with Bluetooth connection from my IPad or phone.
“It came with a good selection of products to practice with. There are instructions online, and through the cricut app. You get one months free subscription to cricut access – that was helpful, as it gave me a good idea of things I can make, you can use it without the subscription once you have the hang of things. I have made lots of packaging, some vinyl cuts, some Christmas decorations.”
