Tattoo fan Remy, from Canada, has spent decades on his ink journey – and now he just revealed how far he’s truly come. The dad posted it to his 80,000 Instagram fans

Tattoos can take a lot of time and money.

But one dad proved all that is pretty much worth it as he recently debuted his £115,000 artwork on Instagram. Remy boasts 80,000 on his page where he shares regular updates of his unique inkings. And just recently, the body modification addict delighted fans with a two-year transformation.

Over the years, the Canadian has dedicated a lot of time to the needle – and he’s far from over. In the post, the tattoo fan wrote: “The canvas is only as full as you think it is. Imagination changes everything.

“Late 2022-early 2024 body suit comparison. I’ve made many more changes since the more current photo, stay tuned.” The photo shows two snaps of Remy, one from 2022 next to a more recent shot. In total, he reckons he’s spent over £115,000 ($200,000 Canadian dollars), although he stopped counting a while ago.

Remy, who’s inked some areas more than 30 times, has been working on tattooing his torso for a while. Since he shared his journey, his post garnered a lot of likes and comments. One fan said: “Them colours man, beefing up too by the look of things too.” While another added: “Beyond inspirational my guy!”

A third praised: “I know that some art works are never finished.” While a fourth simply chimed in: “You’re a legend bro.”

Just recently, the dad spilled the beans on the cost of his tattoo journey. In a Q&A with fans, Remy said: “So I’ve been telling people around $200,000 Canadian dollars (£115,000) for about a year now, I can only imagine it’s a little bit more than that.

“But it’s not really like I’m keeping close track either, I’m having fun as I go. It’s not like it’s a painful or terrible feel I can’t wait for it to end. I’m enjoying myself so for me it’s a little bit like going out for dinner or going to a movie with friends. When you’re having fun, you’re not really thinking about it that way.”
