Knife attack victims are recovering after being assaulted in separate incidents on the same North West London street within the space of three minutes. Met Police officers were alerted to a stabbing on Kilburn High Road at 6.32pm on Friday (May 23) and then at 6.35pm the force had to send a team to another incident half a mile along the same street where a man had been slashed in the face.

It is understood the attacks are being investigated as separate assaults rather than being linked. A photo shared on social media shows a crime scene set up outside the Round The Clock convenience store where the stabbing took place.

In the image an ambulance is pictured parked up at the side of the road while paramedics treat the victim, a man in his 50s, on a stretcher. Met Police officers are seen setting up a cordon outside the shop to protect evidence.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “[The victim] was taken to hospital where his injuries were deemed not to be life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.”

The second incident, at 6.35pm, involved a fight on Kilburn High Road near the junction for Brondesbury Villas. A police spokesperson said: “Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man suffering a slash injury to his face. He was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.”

A picture of this crime scene shared on social media shows a large crime scene set up outside Ladbrokes with a police officer stood guarding the cordon.

Anyone with information about either attack is asked to call the Met Police on 101. Alternatively you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit crimestoppers-uk.org.
