Beds and mattresses, pictures on the walls, and even old-style CRT televisions remain in place, while the bar area can be seen with tables, chairs, and stools neatly in line
Incredible pictures and video show an abandoned hotel seemingly left almost exactly as it was the day it closed for business. Pictures posted to Reddit and a video on YouTube show the untouched venue looking as if guests and staff simply left one day and never returned.
The video exploring the building posted by photographer Freaktography shows rooms with beds and mattresses, pictures on the walls, and even old-style CRT televisions still in place. Meanwhile the bar area can be seen with tables, chairs, and stools neatly in line, along with napkin holders and even full salt shakers.
Only a thick covering of dust and items including a printer and first aid kit stacked up in the corner of the bar suggest that no one has been there for some time.
In the video description they wrote: “Exploring a fully intact abandoned hotel where every room, every bed and every piece of furniture was left behind, a rare abandoned building and a real urban exploration time capsule. I stepped inside a fully intact abandoned hotel that has been sitting untouched for years and found every room still filled with beds, pillows, nightstands and all the original furniture.
“The dining area has tables lined up, chairs pushed in, speakers still mounted and the lights for the old dance floor waiting to switch on. It feels like the doors closed one night and no one ever returned.
“Cobwebs stretch across the doorways. Paint is peeling in long strips. Water damage is working its way across the ceilings and the floors.
“Nothing has been taken, nothing has been moved, nothing has been vandalised. It is a complete time capsule and one of the most surprising abandoned buildings I have explored.”
Speaking in the video itself they said: “I walked into the main floor and realised right away that this wasn’t just abandoned, it was frozen. Every doorway had cobwebs, like nature had been working overtime to stitch this place shut.
“Paint is starting to peel from the walls, but at the same time, it looks like they could re-open this place tomorrow and get right to business.”
Pictures of the site, in a undisclosed location, were also posted to Reddit, where urban exploration fans were amazed. One said: “Doesn’t look ‘abandoned’ so much as ‘closed’ for good. Someone could buy it, put some money into it and open it.”
Replying, another said: “Agreed. Some of the rooms could merge into one master suite or just to make them bigger. The bar is fine the way it is, but the chairs and high-tops, they should be replaced with something better.”
And someone else said: “It’s in incredible shape, it’s showing its age with the CRT TVs and boom boxes. But other than that it looks like it could be reopened with minimal refurbishings.”
One user pointed out a ‘for sale’ sign can be seen in one of the images, to which Freaktography replied: “It’s said ‘for sale’ for over 10 years.”
