Transport for London has confirmed an entire London Overground will close this weekend for maintenance work. Buses will replace trains on the Lioness line – which runs between Euston and Watford Junction – on both Saturday August 16 and Sunday August 17.

Affected passengers can also use the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines along part of the route. The Bakerloo line between Queen’s Park and Harrow & Wealdstone is also due to shut on both days, along with the Piccadilly line between Wood Green and Cockfosters; and from Rayners Lane to Uxbridge.

The Piccadilly line closure will also affect the Night Tube on Friday between King’s Cross St Pancras and Cockfosters. Other weekend closures include a stretch of the DLR between Poplar and Beckton and the Mildmay line between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction on Sunday.
