After a brief respite from the extreme heat wave we’ve been experiencing in London, this week it is set to pick back up to those high twenties, with a temperature of 29C on Sunday (feeling like 32C with light winds), according to the forecasters at the BBC.
After a short break from the heat, today we are seeing some clouds in the sky, and it’s a slightly more moderate Monday morning at 23C. However, temperatures are expected to rise throughout the week, with clear skies most afternoons.
Tuesday is set to be a warm day, but with thick clouds and a moderate breeze, preparing us for the first of the hot weather expected, with temperatures reaching 28C this Wednesday.
On Thursday, it will then briefly lower with a spot of showers expected across the morning with a gentle breeze. The rain won’t last too long as it is expected to clear up to sunny skies in the afternoon, reaching 23C (but also with high pollen warnings).
After the recent heatwave, temperatures won’t quite reach the same highs of the thirties, but will still climb into some of the top twenties across the weekend. With Saturday and Sunday expected to reach 28C and 29C, and with high UV warnings, it will be a warm ending to June .
