2024 has been an on and off year weather-wise so far. While April has seen some bouts of glorious sunshine, it’s also been – typically – wet.
And while spring is looking to be an inconsistent one, things are certainly looking up in the temperature department. This weekend, for example, will see the mercury rise to 20C, the hottest temperature of the year so far.
This is according to the Met Office, who also predict that the high temperatures will be pretty short-lived.

It’s Saturday (April 6) when we’ll see the 20C highs, which we can expect some time between 11am and 4pm. On the Sunday (April 7), temperatures, but it should only slip down to 16C.
It’s Tuesday next week (April 9) when they really take a dive, right down to 13C, along with some April showers.
