McDonald’s has released a new menu in honour of its 50th year in the UK, but do you remember these salivating snacks from yesteryear?

McDonald’s has launched their 50th anniversary menu to celebrate half a century of Brits lovin’ it!

The American fast food giant arrived on UK soil to open a shop in Woolwich, south London, in 1974 – and since then it has been as popular here as it has across the pond.

The limited-edition menu includes the return of four burgers – McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, The Double Big Mac and the Double Big Mac with bacon.

Fans will also be able to munch on new sides, a Birthday Cake Donut, and flurry of different McFlurry flavours.

But although everyone has their favourite order, there are some much-loved items that have been removed from the franchise that you may have forgotten.

Let’s take a trip down the menu memory lane to look at these long lost snacks…
