With the summer season in a few weeks, gardening tasks have become more important. Entering the month of June, gardeners have been told to start growing vegetables inside their sheds simply using grow bags.

The constant temperature changes and humidity are urging gardeners to take care of their plants and flowers more than ever, as they might require constant watering and direct sunlight.

Growing your produce not only adds to the look and feel of your patio, but it also saves you some money by not having to pop to the store for some potatoes, lettuce or fresh basil leaves. However, taking care of plants and big garden spaces can be quite time-consuming – but don’t worry, there’s a solution that will minimise your tasks.

For those who have limited spaces in their gardens, there’s one perfect solution. Have you ever heard about grow bags? They’re also lightweight, making them much easier to move around. So, it might be time to buy some and test them.

Sam Jenkinson, from garden building retailer Tiger, told The Mirror: “Many plants can be grown from bags inside your garden shed instead of being planted outside. For example, you can create a potato tower in a bag that can be grown vertically which is great if you have limited space.”

The gardening guru said that by using those, it also helps during harvesting. Instead of digging through the soil, gardeners can just simply empty the bag and separate the vegetables. The best thing about is that everything is kept in one place, and away from any unwanted pests that can damage the produce.

He continued: “To help your plants thrive in their grow bag, keep the soil moist and position them near a window as they love sunlight. If you don’t have space near a window, you can also purchase a grow light which will do the same job.”

Grow bags can be purchased at any stores with a gardening section, such as B&Q, Wilko and even Poundland, with prices varying between £1 to £4.99. Alternatively, you can get them on Amazon for £6.99.

By investing in grow bags, gardeners will have it so much easier to keep an eye on their fresh produce and maximise their outdoor spaces by adding as many of these growing bags. Also, did I mention saving money in the process? Work smarter, not harder – happy gardening!
