Get £90 off Shark deep-cleaner that makes grubby carpets look ‘brand new’

The cleaner gets deep into carpet fibres to tackle embedded dirt and also has a fast-drying function

Homeowners with children and pets know all too well how quickly carpets can start to look worn out and grubby. Especially lighter coloured carpets, as they can show up the embedded dirt much more easily, and no amount of vacuuming will lift such stains.

Currently, Amazon has an exclusive deal on Shark’s CarpetXpert Deep Clean Carpet Cleaner, which is on sale for £159.99, down from £249.99 – a saving of £90. The device comes with a built-in stain and spot remover attachment tool and some cleaning solution.

It also has a fast-drying function to dry carpets once they’ve been deep cleaned. Shark says the device is eight times more effective at cleaning carpets than a regular vacuum.

The handheld spot remover attachment can be used to remove tough spots from rugs, carpets, stairs, sofas, upholstery, car interiors, and more. It also has a removable water tank that collects all the dirty water.

Shark’s carpet cleaner is exclusive to Amazon, so it isn’t currently on sale on the brand’s website. However, there’s a selection of alternatives, including this CarpetXpert HairPro Pet Carpet Cleaner, now £179.99, was £279.99. The model is touted as a professional deep carpet cleaner for homes with pets.

Those concerned about a lack of storage space can opt for a spot cleaner, as they are often much smaller. This Vax SpotWash Home Pet-Design Spot Carpet Cleaner is £120 on Argos and comes with a bottle of cleaning solution.

On Shark’s CarpetXpert Deep Clean Carpet Cleaner, one Amazon buyer gave it five stars, writing: “Wow, what a machine! After my son had a few accidents in his bedroom, I never thought I would get the stains or the smell out, how I was wrong!

“This machine is absolutely fantastic. Not only are the stains and smells gone, but it’s left the carpet looking brand new. It’s easy to use and not too heavy. Left the carpet fresh and nearly dry wow wish I had gotten one ages ago.”
