Apple fans can get the flagship phone for £271 cheaper than rivals

Apple fans hunting for a bargain are in luck, as we’ve trawled through the offers to find a deal with a significantly lower monthly cost. Ditching big names like Sky Mobile, Three, and O2 for a lesser-known provider could save you hundreds, as we discovered.

This iD Mobile deal is a prime example, slashing the cost of the flagship iPhone to just £29.99 per month, making it £271 cheaper than its larger competitors. Take giffgaff, for instance, which offers it on a much longer 36-month plan with a hefty total price tag of £1,039.

Unlike the iD Mobile deal we spotted, giffgaff doesn’t throw in any data for that higher price. This is arguably what made the 24-month iD Mobile plan stand out, as customers will receive a whopping 100GB of data included in the deal – without any increase in cost. Now priced at £29.99 per month, the plan will cost a total of £768, spread over a 24-month period. The only additional cost is a one-off upfront fee of £49, reports Birmingham Live.

Unusually, iD Mobile allows customers to spread the cost over two years, which is key to achieving this impressively low price. For example, Sky Mobile’s starting price of £23 might seem cheaper initially, but when you consider that this price doesn’t include any data and it’s a longer plan, it’ll end up costing customers thousands more – precisely £1,818 in total.

Sky is offering the iPhone 15 on a hefty three-year contract, with prices starting from £23. Meanwhile, Three Mobile is offering the flagship model from £20 per month, totalling £745 for the device, but you’ll need to add a data plan on top of that.

Deals for the iPhone 15 have been pouring in since the hint of Apple’s rumoured new iPhone launch. Devoted fans will know that this happens every year around late August and early September.

The standout feature of the iPhone 15 range was its Dynamic Island. New to Apple enthusiasts, this subtle touchscreen bar makes responding to messages and viewing notifications much more convenient. Its switch to USB-C charging ports was also noteworthy, a change expected to continue with future models.

Alternatively, mobile enthusiasts should consider rival Samsung and its latest Galaxy ZFlip6 and Galaxy ZFold6 devices, or Google’s Google Pixel 8 device, launching for £400 on Amazon, is another one to watch.
