Shoppers have said that it ‘takes the hard work out of cleaning’

People who are battling with a never-ending winter problem could put an end to their “least favourite chore” with a handy gadget. Dunelm shoppers say they “recommend it to everyone” after it has made their lives “much easier”.

Dunelm is selling the TOWER Cordless Window Vacuum for £30 online. The website description claims that people can achieve “spotless windows” after using the “powerful” device, which has a 30-minute battery life. It is said to tackle “moisture and smudges”, leaving glass surfaces “effortlessly clean”.

It is suitable for a range of surfaces, based on the product pictures which show people using the device to clean oven doors, shower screens and more. It was rated 4.7 stars out of five, based on dozens of Dunelm shopper reviews.

Shoppers can get the device delivered to their door from as little as £3.95. But, shoppers might be able to reserve the device for free in-store collection if they live close enough to a physical Dunelm shop.

There are similar devices available elsewhere, such as the Mac Allister Cordless Window Vacuum (B&Q, £30) or the Karcher WV 1 Handheld Window Vacuum Cleaner (Argos, £40). However, the Dunelm option is being given great reviews.

One said: “I didn’t even realise these existed! I have a damp house, and this is the perfect gadget to help with condensation. Makes cleaning the windows much easier, my least favourite chore!”

Another said: “What an incredible item! I’m now wondering why I’ve never had one before. It clears any condensation on the insides of the windows in seconds. Really pleased I bought it.”

A third posted: “The window vac is brilliant for clearing the condensation off my windows each morning and for clearing the shower doors, I recommend it to everyone.” Someone else’s review put: “It’s very efficient and cuts the time in half for cleaning windows, but is also very good for windows that condensate. I also use this on my car windows.”

Some did run into a few issues with the device, though, with a few shoppers claiming that the size can be a problem for smaller windows. One person wrote: “The head is wider than I expected so for a couple of my windows i have to tilt it sideways to use which doesn’t collect as much.”

However, the majority had no reason not to give it a five-star rating. One shopper said: “Definitely takes the hard work out of cleaning windows and shower screens, and great for getting rid of condensation first thing in the mornings too. Had no problems with it.”

One more posted online: “Great product, charge lasts ages and good size water tank, so not having to empty it after each use. I use it on condensation on windows and shower screen after each use.”
