Greggs has unveiled a fresh £5 meal deal alongside a collection of autumn menu additions, featuring a Chicken Fajita Bake, fiery chicken burgers, and seasonal hot beverages.
The new “Big Deal” allows shoppers to select a main course, beverage, and side dish for just £5. Main options encompass any hot or cold sandwich, salad, pasta, or chicken goujons.
Side choices span from crisps and fruit pots to a newly introduced Free Range Egg Pot. For a restricted period, patrons can also exchange their side for a Sausage Roll or Vegan Sausage Roll. The fresh offer becomes available in stores across the country from Thursday, September 4.

Greggs’ autumn selection also showcases the Chicken Fajita Bake, packed with pulled chicken, peppers, and fiery sauce, all encased in puff pastry and finished with black pepper crumb. A brand new Firecracker Chicken collection has also debuted and is obtainable made-to-order in chosen outlets.
This encompasses the Firecracker Crispy Chicken Burger, presented with salad, jalapeños, and spicy sauce in a corn-top bun, plus the Firecracker Chicken Wrap, crafted with Southern Fried Chicken Goujons, cucumber, and salad in a tortilla wrap.
Pizza enthusiasts can sample the Hot Firecracker Pizza, which features spicy chicken, mixed peppers, and chipotle chilli sauce on a focaccia-style foundation. It’s available in individual slices or sharing boxes.

Greggs is also refreshing its toastie selection with three varieties: Cheese and Ham, Cheese and Onion Chutney, and barbecue Chicken, reports the Express.
All are prepared on sourdough white bread and finished with béchamel sauce and grated cheese. Autumn beverages have returned, featuring the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte, Caramel Mocha, and Caramel Hot Chocolate.
The sweet offerings include a Pumpkin Spice Doughnut and a Toffee Fudge Muffin. App users can bag a free item after every nine purchases in each category.
Greggs’ popularity comes from its affordability and the quality of its products. It offers familiar British tastes: the iconic sausage rolls and other pasties. There’s something so comforting whenever biting into a freshly baked sausage roll that’s unbeatable – and there’s a vegan version. But don’t worry, they’ve also begun to include healthier options such as salads.
There are more than 2,600 stores across the UK, with the company continuing to expand in more locations, such as travel hubs, as well as partnering with supermarket retailers. According to Greggs Corporate, their target is to reach 3,000 shops within five years’ time.
