Disney fans are buzzing after seeing what the resort used in High School Musical 2 looks like in real life.
High School Musical [HSM] fans will never forget when Zac Efron sang Bet On It as he danced around a resort golf course in his second film as the iconic Troy Bolton. The high school basketball stud and his friends from East High spend the summer working at a country club – but of course the typical teenage drama still gets in the way.
Anyone who was ever jealous of the High School Musical summer can actually stay at the same resort where Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashely Tisdale, and the rest of the gang shot the beloved film.
While known as ‘Lava Springs Country Club’ in the film, its real name is The Inn at Entrada and is based in the St George area of Utah, in the US. From playing on Troy’s basketball court, to chilling by the same pool like Sharpay, the on-screen spots have not changed since the film’s release in 2007.
The Washington County resort offers “comfort and ample” luxury lodges, said to offer a “true home-away-from-home experience” and have hot tubs, a private garage, a living room with a fireplace, along with stunning view of the red Vermillion Cliffs (the Bet On It set).
Staying in one of the suites will set you back ÂŁ185 to ÂŁ362 a night – depending on how many guests. Also on site are tennis courts, a spa, a fitness centre, and a fine-dining restaurant.
HSM superfans raked in 1.3million views after sharing her experience at the resort on TikTok recently. German best friends and dancers Vanessa and Nayla, showed what it was like “sleeping in Vanessa Hudgens’ room” – after asking the front desk if they could stay in a room where one of the actors stayed.
The video shows the pair entering the resort premises before heading to their grand room with an epic view of southwestern Utah. They also lounged by the pool – which is a staple in HSM 2 and sang Sharpay’s Fabulous song.
The pair said staying at the resort is a “dream come true” and described it as “absolutely incredible”. Reacting to the video, one individual said: “I would run through the field and sing Bet On It.”
“How do it feel to live my dream?,” wrote another. “My inner child is screaming,” added another. “I want to go here,” commented one other.
