The Loose Women panellist shared the dress from high-street favourite H&M to her Instagram and raved about how it was ideal for the upcoming summer months
Frankie Bridge has declared a floaty white dress from the high street as ‘the best’ summer frock as she posted a picture on her story to share that it had recently launched. The Ramie maxi dress from H&M, £74.99, is a boho dream with a tiered top half and ethereal skirt that glides down to the floor, making it perfect to wear in warmer temperatures.
Semi-sheer, the dress is only available online and comes in sizes XS to XXL, although the Loose Women panellist is predicting it will sell out fast.
The sleeveless number is made with an “airy weave” and features a simple round neckline that is offset by the contrasting gathered panels on the bodice. Fastened with a hook at the back, the white dress, which is made from ramie – a linen-like cellulose fiber made from nettle plants – is the perfect holiday number that we can see going down a treat in beachy havens like the Costa Del Sol.
Sharing the dress on her Instagram story, Frankie explained: “I shared this dress a while ago in an @hm reel, it’s now live online!! It’s the best summer dress, one of my most recent faves from when I visited the showroom. I have a feeling it’s going to sell out quickly so grab one while you can!”
The former singer paired the look with an oversized leather jacket and some pointed slingbacks, which make for the perfect boho-chic outfit, especially with her hair in light waves falling over her face.
Fans of the 35-year-old were quick to comment on the frock when she first shared it in early February, when she visited an H&M showroom.
One said: “White dress”, followed by a series of heart-eye emojis.
Another added: “Love!” While a third simply wrote: “So obsessed with these looks.”
“Makes me ready for Spring weather,” remarked another fashion fan.
If you’d rather keep your silhouette hidden through this dress, it is best to put on a slip underneath as the material, from the pictures, looks pretty see-through.
Elsewhere, fashion lovers are snapping up Nobody’s Child’s White Kelsie Smock Midi dress, which is similar in style but features balloon sleeves and is made from a responsible viscose blend with organic cotton. Costing £69, the panels are slightly wider on this frock too. For a similar vibe but slightly cheaper price point, Boohoo’s cheesecloth tie shoulder maxi beach dress has been reduced in the sale to £16.50 and has similar details such as no sleeves and gorgeous stacked panels.
Alternatively, if you fell in love with this H&M dress, as did Frankie, get it here for £74.99 before it sells out.
