Amazon shoppers have called this £36 portable aircon fan ‘the best thing I’ve bought’ and praised it for how lightweight, quiet and effective it is at cooling a room down quickly
The heatwave has been cause for celebration for many of us, with the sun finally making an appearance and a real summer finally hitting the UK. However it does leave us with one major issue – trying to stay cool when we’re not out enjoying the sun.
Whether you’re struggling to sleep overnight thanks to the humidity or feeling the strain of trying to work from home without office aircon, there’s no denying that the rise in temperature is making day to day activities tricker. Thankfully Amazon shoppers have found the perfect affordable solution, with some calling the Portable Air Conditioner Air Cooler Fan the “best thing I’ve bought”.

The aircon unit is currently on sale on Amazon, reduced to £35.99 from £39.99, making it a great cost-effective solution to your overheating problem. It also operates with a low-cost energy consumption, making it more affordable to run than a typical fan or aircon unit.
It uses a USB port for power, making it portable and easy to plug in and go anywhere, and its compact size makes it ideal for keeping by your desk or on a dining table while you work from home. You can also set an automatic timer which turns it off after a certain amount of time to avoid running up your energy bill.
There are five different cooling levels, and although it works alone to cool your space down, you can also add ice cubes to the device to create an even cooler mist. Despite its small size, the aircon unit has a pretty hefty water tank capacity that holds up to six litres of water, which is enough to produce up to 10 hours of cold air.
