A ‘police incident’ outside a Sainsbury’s in Hornchurch, East London, has left a major road closed with London buses on diversion. A124 High Street is closed in both directions between Billet Lane and North Street.
The nature of the incident is unknown, but we’ve contact the emergency services for more information. There are delays in place so only head through if absolutely necessary and leave with plenty of time.
The following London buses are on diversion: 165, 193, 248, and 372.
The Met Police and London Ambulance Service (LAS) have been contacted for comment.
