Crystal Palace are set to take on Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday, May 17, with kick-off set for 4.30pm. Palace have never won the FA Cup, last losing in the final in 2016 to Manchester United.
Manchester City, on the other hand, have won the cup seven times, and been runners-up another six. They last won in 2023, and in last year’s final they lost to 2-1 to Manchester United.
But Crystal Palace have excelled in this year’s competition, winning both the quarter final and semi final 3-0 against Fulham and Aston Villa respectively. Here at MyLondon, we’ve rounded up the best ways to get last-minute tickets to the FA Cup final.
When is the FA Cup Final?
The FA Cup final is taking place on Saturday, May 17. Kick-off is at 4.30pm, and the game will be broadcast on BBC One and ITV1.
How to get FA Cup final tickets
Official tickets to the final can be bought through Manchester City and Crystal Palace’s official ticketing sites. Both clubs have mostly sold out, with around 30,000 tickets allocated to each. There are waiting lists available though, and fans are encouraged to sign up.
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
Sites such as Viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs. Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale – such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation – to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.
With that said, viagogo also commented: “viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the guarantee.” And while Viagogo doesn’t sell FA Cup final tickets, there are other resale sites that do.
Ticombo is the most notable, with tickets starting at £153 at the time of writing. Live Football Tickets has options starting at £170, while Seat Unique has hospitality tickets starting at £499 per person.
