Fletchers’ Family Farm has proven to be a hit with viewers, and now fans of the ITV show can book a stay at the stunning Stag Cottage, which is located on the farm

Television programmes chronicling the everyday lives of farmers seem to be enjoying considerable popularity right now, including Clarkson’s Farm and Fletchers’ Family Farm. While Jeremy Clarkson hasn’t yet started letting out accommodation on his property, Fletchers’ Farm star Liz has made their beautifully refurbished cottage available for fans of the programme to book.

The property in question is Stag Cottage, which made an appearance in the second series of Fletchers’ Farm. Located on the 120-acre farm, former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher revealed that the reaction to the cottage has “gone above and beyond our expectations”.

The venture forms part of efforts to “diversify to generate extra income”, Kelvin explained, reports the Manchester Evening News.

He continued by saying the cottage has become one of the farm’s most lucrative revenue sources, which his wife Liz meticulously restored single-handedly.

Liz subsequently told audiences: “Since we put the cottage up for rent as a holiday let, it has just gone crazy. We put it online for about two days, and the year literally sold out…It’s just gone above and beyond our expectations.”

Kelvin then described the cottage as his wife’s “baby” and joked that if he can’t locate her on the farm he’ll know precisely where she’ll be – “spending her time on her new obsession”.

The overnight stay can be booked via Sykes Holiday Cottages where it’s already been racking up five star reviews.

One reviewer wrote: “The cottage had everything we needed and we received fast and helpful advice and support from Liz. I’d recommend Stag Cottage as an idyllic, quiet and cosy home for anyone’s restful holiday. Nearby we found nice villages, pubs and amazing walks. Many thanks for the opportunity to enjoy your lovely home.”

Another added: “It feels so homely as soon as you step inside. Very cosy and welcoming, beautifully decorated. A real gem! Very comfortable beds. We love how quiet it is. Kelvin and Liz were lovely and friendly. We would love to stay again! Thanks from Jules and Chris.”
