A mum-of-five chillingly predicted her own death just days before she was beheaded by her husband over ‘cheating’ allegations.

Judith Nibbs, 60, a Meals On Wheels worker from Kirkham, Lancashire, was attacked and killed by Dempsey Nibbs, 69, at their home in Hoxton, east London on April 10, 2014.

The couple’s relationship was deteriorating at the time, with Dempsey becoming increasingly suspicious his wife was having affairs with other men.

After examining her computer, finding videos, sexually explicit Skype messages and bank transfer receipts connected to a man called Khalid from Morocco, Judith confessed: “I have had sex eight times” and an argument erupted.

The crane operator would grab Judith by the throat and threaten her life on April 7, and just a day later, whilst she was finishing work, she told her colleagues she anticipated things would worsen, reports the Express.

“If I’m not in Friday, I might be dead,” she said, chillingly.

On the evening of April 10, Dempsey would assault the mother of two of his children, striking her unconscious with an iron bar before severing her head and disposing of it down the toilet.

He would then compose a note to his 30 year old son, Kirk, and dial 999 to report two bodies at the property, with Dempsey intending to take his own life.

A police officer decided to force entry through the front door when he spotted Judith’s body through the letterbox, proceeding to wrestle a shotgun and a knife from Dempsey after he tried to stab himself in the bathroom. The shamed husband confessed to killing his wife, referring to her as a “snake”, despite jurors hearing that he had shown no signs of mental illness.

Dempsey told the court that he didn’t intend to end Judith’s life but rather wanted to “slap her around a bit”, and it was only after she was dead that he decided to behead her because he felt “betrayed”.

Jurors dismissed his claims of self-defence and found him guilty of murder, with sentencing postponed to a date yet to be determined.
