Hulk Hogan has died at the age of 71, it has been reported by American celebrity news site TMZ. The wrestling Hall of Farmer, best known for appearing in the 1980s and 90s, is understood to have suffered a cardiac arrest today (Thursday, July 24).
Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, was renowned for his flamboyant appearance, big moustache, and imposing physique. He was part of WWF/WWE and WCW.
His death has been reported by the Mirror, who claim that medics were dispatched to the 71 year old’s home in Clearwater, Florida. The sad news comes just a few weeks after his wife, Sky, had to deny rumours he was in a coma.
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice, once as a singles competitor in 2005 and again as a member of the nWo in 2020. More than just a wrestler, Hulk Hogan became one of the most recognisable people on the planet.
