Jane suffered complications while giving birth and says she has seen what is really on the other side
A woman who almost died while giving birth says she met her dad in the afterlife – but he sent her back to Earth with the lesson that Heaven “isn’t a real place”.
Jane Dawson felt her soul leave her body, as all the pain she was in disappeared instantly and says she entered into a realm between the physical and non-physical, where ‘a familiar energy was present’.
As she reached out, their souls collided and Jane realised it was her father, who had passed away only three months before. Jane, from Scotland, says the experience has taught her that life “never truly ends” and that death is an “illusion”.
But she says she also learned that Heaven “isn’t a real place”. Instead, there’s other realities in which those alive and physically dead walk with each other. “To my mind, you’re in the physical, which is having a body and walking about planet Earth,” she said.
“And then there’s the non-physical, where you don’t have a body and you’re in the purely energetic realms. It keeps things simple and explains the way in which I met my dad. Heaven is really a state of being rather than a place.”
Jane was experiencing labour complications with her son, now 24, when she crossed over. She said: “I was about to push the baby out, when I suddenly had a weird feeling wash over me. I couldn’t do it.
“I had total exhaustion on every level. And I thought that my time was up. I felt my soul leave my body and all the pain go away – it was delicious. At that very moment, I felt a familiar energy.
“I had not been thinking about my dad, nor asked for his help, but I knew I wasn’t able to go through this alone. We had a wonderful reunion, soul-to-soul. It was completely dark, though full of love, stillness, bliss and peace.
“I didn’t see him, or hear him, but I knew it was him one million per cent. It’d be no different to if he was sitting next to me right now – he couldn’t have been mistaken. I held my arms out to him and cried out with joy that my dad was with me.
“He exchanged love, thoughts and knowledge without even talking. But he told me it wasn’t my time.”
Jane’s dad said she had to return to her physical form to give birth and raise her son. But that’s not all; he showed her a reel of future events that she had left to experience. She was “zapped” back into her physical body and gave birth with zero issues.
After a few years, Jane noticed something rather bizarre about her son – he was her dad’s reincarnation. She said: “I don’t think this was only my near-death experience. “It was the rebirth of my dad. He passed away when I was six months pregnant. At the time, I didn’t believe in anything spiritual.
“I just thought once you die, you go into the ground and that’s it. On the day he died, and was in a coma, I whispered to him that I was having a boy and that I wanted him to always watch over him. He must have absorbed that with his spirit, as when our souls connected, I felt a jolt run through me.
“When my son was born, he looked exactly like my dad in all his baby pictures. As he was able to walk and talk a little bit, he asked for a baton and handcuffs as he wanted to be a police man – the job my father had.
“I think my dad has come back alive through my son. And it brings me great comfort to know he’s still here.”
Jane says the whole experience has taught her that life doesn’t just end when we die – and that we’re all here for a very important reason. She added: “Our existence is all about learning. When we die, we go to the non-physical realm, have a life review and then come back with a fraction of our old energy. There’s always loving beings right next to you, looking after you and healing you.
“I can feel my dad’s energy walking next to my son and it makes my heart feel full. It’s a challenging life, though the magic and miracles that happen because of them make it a little bit easier. Now I’m in this place of self-loving which I want for everyone.
“I seriously don’t think I’d be alive if it wasn’t for that experience with my dad. It was totally transformational. I used to be terrified of death – but now, I’m looking forward to it when the time comes.
“Just remember: you’re never alone. And life never ends – it’s one continuous loop.”
