A woman was left gobsmacked after her ungrateful colleague kicked off at her while she was driving them both to work in her car. It’s really kind to help the people you work with as and when you can, and that’s why one woman was giving her pal lifts. But things came crashing down after they showed themselves up and acted entitled.

Lisa Diva, who posts on TikTok as @lisa.divass, shared a “follower story” that had been sent to her, which left many in the comments seething. The woman in the story admitted she’d started “refusing” her colleague lifts after what happened.

Lisa read: “Am I wrong for refusing to drive my co-worker to work any more after one comment she made? So I was driving my co-worker to work every morning for eight months as she lives close, and we have the same start time, and it wasn’t really a hassle for me.

“I never asked her for any money because we were friendly and I figured I’m going that way anyway”.

They explained that “everything was fine” until a few weeks ago, when she texted the co-worker to say that she was going to be “running a few minutes late” that morning as she needed to go to the pharmacy.

The co-worker responded with a “thumbs up” emoji, so she thought it was all fine – until she arrived at their house.

“When I pulled up to the house, she came out in a bad mood, got into the car and slammed the door. She barely even said hello,” she recalled.

Lisa continued: “I asked if everything was okay and she snapped at me, saying she was late because of me, and if I knew I had errands to run, I should have got up earlier.

“I was a bit taken aback because I’d told her I’d be five minutes late, and she hadn’t told me it’d be an issue. During the car journey, she started complaining about how unreliable people can be.

“She said that some people think they’re doing you a favour, when really, they’re making your life harder”.

The driver admitted that she “sat there completely shocked,” not knowing what to say to her entitled colleague.

After the lift, she told her colleague that she wouldn’t be giving her lifts anymore, saying she was “polite” about it, saying that her “schedule might be changing”.

“It wasn’t, but I wanted to avoid an argument,” she admitted, saying that her colleague then started to act really “cold” around her.

Her colleague then told other people they worked with that she was “petty and selfish,” however, some of the woman’s friends told her that she should have “let it go” rather than stop giving her lifts.

In the comments, many backed the driver, saying: “I would’ve stopped and asked her to get out there and then”.

Another wrote: “This happened to me! I used to take a co-worker to work. One day, he said to me, This car is s*** and slow. So, on the way one day, I pulled up halfway to work and said, Think I’ve got a flat tire. Get out and check. So, as he got out, I sped off and left him there! He was furious, and he had to call a taxi and ended up late for work.”
