A woman has gone viral on social media after she shared a video of herself showing off her incredible weight loss transformation – but even though people now say they want to date her, she isn’t happy
A woman who underwent a dramatic body transformation has revealed people who previously refused to date her are now showing interest.
However, Lara, who went viral on Instagram thanks to her weight loss journey, doesn’t think these people deserve a second chance.
In a clip, she confidently showed off her new figure in a cropped white shirt and low-rise flared jeans. The video features text overlay that reads: “I can’t believe that was under all of that, I’d totally date you now,” as if written from the perspective of someone else.
She then shares a photo of what she used to look like, accompanied by lyrics from the song Come Over (Again) by Crawlers – which also played in the background. The lyrics read: “Take her name out of your mouth, you don’t deserve to mourn.”
“You can’t believe how much I hear this,” Lara captioned the post, adding the hashtags ‘#reels’, ‘#instagramreels’ and ‘#mentalhealthmatters’. Her video has sparked a significant reaction online, amassing over 134,000 likes and numerous comments.
One comment read: “Yeah cause that’s still me. All versions of me deserve to be appreciated and if you didn’t like me then, stay away from me now.”
Another user added: “She was still a person. She was just as deserving of love then as she is now.”
A third commenter echoed these sentiments, saying: “I hate this so much. I’ve been losing weight for a while and people always think it’s such an amazing compliment to tell me I look ‘so good’ or ‘so much better’ and that they can tell, etc.”
