Brown has been dubbed the colour of the season. Jackets, jumpers, dresses…the autumnal hue is everywhere, from the runways to the streets. But it hasn’t just invaded the fashion world: makeup trends are following suit too. It’s fair to say that brown products are flattering on all lip and eye colours, making them a staple of any beauty collection.

And if you were on the hunt for some, Rimmel London has just released a new range inspired by its bestselling lip liner shade, ‘cappuccino’. I may not like coffee, but it’s got me hooked – the brand definitely understood the assignment. Seven pieces have been added to the brand new Serving Cappuccino line. As a makeup lover, it has everything I need to create the perfect looks for the colder months.

Now available at Superdrug and LookFantastic, it first includes two eye products. There’s the Thrill Seeker Mascara (£12.99) in the shade cappuccino, as well as the Wonder’Ink Precision Eyeliner Pen (£7.99) in the shade spiced chestnut.

Paired together, they’re great for adding warmth to the eyes. The rest of the collection consists of products for the lips.

Two of these are lip oils (£8.99), in the shades cappuccino and deep cherry. Not only are the colours subtle yet rich, but the oils themselves are really moisturising without being sticky.

The collection also includes the Oh My Gloss! Butter Me Up balm (£9.99) in the shade latte delight. The hydrating treat contains skincare actives including five per cent squalane for nourished, smoother-looking lips.

Best of all, it has a heavenly vanilla scent, making it hard not to reapply every five minutes. Last but not least, the range features two lip liners.

There’s of course the bestselling Lasting Finish 8Hr Lip Liner (£3.99) in the shade cappuccino, as well as the Oh My Plump! Lip Shaper (£6.99) in the shade café latte. Both are perfect for wearing with lipstick or gloss, whether nude, pink, red or brown.

And to celebrate the launch of Serving Cappuccino, Rimmel London has teamed up with Black Sheep Coffee to organise a series of pop-ups. After a successful first edition in London last Friday, the next ones will take place in Manchester (October 10), Edinburgh (October 17), and Glasgow (October 24).

Visitors can expect free giveaways throughout the day, £1 collagen cappuccinos, and more. And if you missed the London event or can’t make the upcoming ones, you can find special Serving Cappuccino bundles on TikTok shop.
