A super fit mum isn’t afraid to wear G-string bikinis, dance to TikTok songs, or post snaps of her toned physique at 50 – and she says she is ‘unbothered’ when people tell her to ‘dress her age’

This woman is proud to flaunt her fit physique online and confessed she loves wear G-string bikinis and crop tops – but people tell her to “dress her age.”

Rose Cordeiro, 50, is passionate about inspiring other people to “love yourself at any age” and is “unbothered” about what people think about the way she dresses. The mum from Texas, who loves dance and fitness, says she gets daily messages from men in their 20s who compliment her and are interested in dating her.

Her positive attitude and self-love has seen Rose become a viral sensation on social media. She has 65,000 followers on Instagram and has raked in 1.4million views on TikTok. The mum-of-four previously said while she is subject to negative comments, the majority of her followers can’t help but remark about how young she looks – and Rose isn’t shy to flaunt her toned body.

The American woman said when she’s out and about with her daughter – who is in her mid-twenties – people think the pair are sisters. She started creating fun clips during the pandemic, and what started off as a fun activity to pass the time with her daughter turned into something people loved.

Rose, who swears by a healthy lifestyle to keep her young, says she thinks “everyone” at her age “looks older than I do”. The mum, who keeps fit by cycling and taking Pilates classes, uses her platform to speak about loving the skin you’re in.

Rose added: “Crazy how a lot of people think once you hit your 40s, it’s downhill from there! I’m here to show you, you’re only as old as you feel! I still feel you and it will never be anyone’s place to tell me otherwise.”

Rose says she loves celebrating life in her 50s as between her 20s and 40s, her life was dominated by being a full-time mum. She added: “So if you see me outside in my 50s, mind your business.”

She doesn’t think it’s right to judge people on what they choose to wear and has been vocal about how she is “totally against bras” and think’s “society is brainwashed” into believing it’s a sexual thing.

One individual recently called her a “grandma” on TikTok and said she shouldn’t be doing what “20-year-old girls do”. Rose says she is “unbothered and not phased” by negativity, adding; “Life is bring if you take it too seriously.”

Commenting on her TikTok videos, one individual said: “Young people have no idea how fast life goes. They’ll blink, wake up 48, and not feel any different.” “You’re beautiful, keep doing you all day,” wrote another.

One other follower said: “Block out negativity. Dress the way you want and enjoy your life. Your life is yours to live, not theirs. So keep your opinion to yourself. Carry on!”

Another pointed out: “It’s always assumed that we are seeking attention! We are just out here enjoying life. You look amazing.” One other wrote: “Keep it going…never too old for anything. Don’t limit yourself.”

“Girl, you look good – keep doing you,” added one other.

“We can do whatever we want as long as we’re not hurting anyone,” Rose added. “Do what makes you happy.”
