An innocent mother has been left with life-changing injuries after feuding West London thugs drove a Range Rover into her front porch. At 2am on August 17 last year Abdul Kayani, 26, purposefully smashed into a Mercedes parked on a driveway in Northern Road, Slough, forcing it into the house.

The porch of the house collapsed, crushing the woman aged in her 40s. Following the crash, Kayani got out of the car brandishing a steering lock and confronted people inside the damaged house. He then got back into his car and drove off.

Moments later police stopped the severely damaged range rover and found a knife hidden in the foot well. It was being driven by Mohammed Subhani, 28, while Kayani and Abdifatah Mohamoud, 23, were passengers

Kayani, Subhani and Mohamoud were arrested the same day and were charged the following day. The trio were sentenced following a hearing at Reading Crown Court on Friday, August 1.

Abdul Kayani, of Green Dragon Lane, Brentford, was sentenced to four years and nine months in prison. He was also disqualified from driving for four years and eight months upon his release from prison and must take an extended re-test to regain his license.

The 26-year-old had previously pleaded guilty to one count of GBH with intent, affray, possession of bladed article and dangerous driving at the same court on February 17.

Abdifatah Mohamoud, of Tachbrook Road, Feltham, was sentenced to nine months in prison at the same court on February 17 this year. He pleaded guilty to one count each of possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis at the same hearing.

Mohammed Subhani, of Chrislea Close, Hounslow, was sentenced to three months in prison at the same court on February 17. He pleaded guilty to one count of dangerous driving in the same hearing, and upon his release from prison and must take an extended re-test to regain his license.

Detective Constable Leiagh Ball, of Thames Valley Police, said: “Abdul Kayani drove his vehicle at that property with intent following a feud. As a result, the victim, an innocent mother, was left with life-changing injuries.

“I hope this sentence serves as a deterrent that the police will take these offences seriously. We are committed to keeping our communities safe and holding offenders to account. I would like to thank the victim and witnesses for their bravery in coming forward and supporting this investigation and I hope, in time, that the victim recovers from her injuries.”
