‘I’ve found a ridiculously easy way to make £3,600 – anyone can do it’

When it comes to finding easy side hustles to help pay those rising bills, one woman has shared how she has discovered a way to make more money and it only takes 30 minutes a day

Judy Savaresi, a 32-year-old customer service professional from Edinburgh, has earned over £3,600 since 2020 through paid surveys – a lockdown hobby turned steady side income.

By dedicating just 30 minutes a day and tracking her efforts with a simple spreadsheet, she helps fund her hobbies, dance classes, and travel without affecting her 9–5 job.

A savvy saver, Judy also makes the most of TopCashback, earning money back on everything from train tickets to health products.

And she says while most people shun surveys because they think you can’t earn enough, digital side hustles can really pay off but the key is to be consistent.

“I started doing paid surveys during the first lockdown, as I was furloughed and wasn’t earning enough at the time. I searched for ways to earn extra money during this difficult time to help with the cost of living. That’s how I discovered I could get paid for sharing my opinions and experiences.

“After lockdown, I also signed up to college and it was a great way to earn extra income alongside my studies, allowing me to dedicate enough time to surveys to earn up to £100 a month!

“This money allowed me to attend my favourite dance classes throughout my time as a student, without having to give up my hobbies while I lived on a student wage.”

And she says she’d definitely recommend it as it’s an easy way to earn small sums of money quickly. However, she adds that it requires a certain level of commitment and organisation, so it may not be for everyone.

“I started by signing up to various paid survey platforms checking them throughout the day to find relevant surveys. I kept notifications enabled so that I can find opportunities as soon as they’re available.

“I’d make sure that I check the platforms in the morning and also on my lunch break, using my spare time to answer the questions. To further boost my earnings, I created the habit to always check TopCashback before making any purchases. This helps me earn money back on things that I’d be buying already.

“For example, I’ve bought train tickets and health products. It’s now second nature to me and by checking the site, it also helps me be more considerate with what I’m buying.”
